Names and Images

Well the first week of school where I live is over, and I hope everyone(does anyone : P) who visits here is well. This year I've seemed to have acquired better study habits, so I hope they can last and I can be successful in junior and senior year. (my dad says this is the year I need to get the "brick" to smash the "door" with...)

In other random topics, I have decided to get a new name. Everyone needs an alternative name right? Although the method of which I obtained mine isn't as authuntic as certain people's *cough* *cough* Ed, I think it is a good name and a good idea. Additionally, "Jessica" connotes (I almost wrote connotates) random things and causes people to recall certain stereotypes that are not me : P

So from now on, my name will be Clarance. (cue awkward silence) Well...th-the thing of it is, i-it is a nice name...and.......; But only online, and only on Fridays. I mean every day online... yeah cause I'm shouldn't be online much if it isn't Friday anyway : P

This is the week of new stuff for me... new classes, new teachers, new school stuff, and new glasses. So yay if I can't see something well(such as sometimes English where ironically front and center(my assigned seat) means very far from the board) I will have an accessory that is not pink and does not say Hannah Montana on the side. Yes laugh at me all you want but when I got them right before ninth grade I had no idea of what Hannah Montana was. My favorite excuse- not entirely true but it sounds kind of nice- I don't watch very much TV.

So yeah goodbye for now; Happy Friday!!! (well it's Saturday now but...)

3 bouts of protest:

I like your (dad's) brick metaphor. I think I only have a bar of soap to throw at the door right now. Or maybe a marshmallow.

Sorry about the random stereotypes. But whatever image I had in my mind has been replaced by your smiling face, so ... it doesn't exist any more. (On the other hand, I saw both my name and Ed's name (the one she was born with, anyway) inside Abercrombie as names of styles of shirts. What does that say about our names? ...)

I think I'll have trouble calling you Clarance. (Is that how you want it spelled?)

I never noticed that about your glasses. Or else I would have started shunning you right away! ... not really.

I'm pretty sure that's a male name.

Sorry for not replying angela, although I see the notification regarding your post every time I check my email! If it's a flaming marshmallow from chemistry it might burn the door down.

Yeah it is a male name; however I like it ^^
